Pop coats are easy to use and but don't require the careful melting procedures of chocolate – just melt and dip, which makes it easy to decorate with them and achieve a wide variety of looks, to make your baked goods look good.
There are a variety of easy methods one can use they are:
1: Microwave Oven: Bowl
A quick and easy way to melt pop coats in a microwave-safe bowl. Add your pop coats and melt at a
40% power or defrost setting for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly. Continue to microwave and stir at 30-second intervals until smooth and completely melted.
2: Double Boiler: Easy Melting
To create double boilers fill the lower pan with water to below level of top pan. Heat water to a simmer, and then remove from heat. Put your pop coats in top pan and set in position on lower pan. Stir constantly, without beating, until smooth and completely melted.
3: Warming Tray
For Melting More Than One Colour, place different colours of pop coats in oven-safe glass bowls. Position bowls on the warming tray on a low to medium setting, stir while melting. Left on the low setting, the tray will keep your assorted pop coat colours at the ideal melted texture while you are decorating.
